Feature and Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read, with the aim of increasing blog followers and our blogging social circles π
Each week there are featured blogs and anybody who joins the hop should follow them, as well as the two hosts.
This week’s VIP blog is My Bookish Itinerary.
The question this week is :
Do you read more than 1 book at a time, and if so, how, like a certain amount of pages per book before moving on to the next one in the queue? β viaΒ Words I Write Crazy
I never used to, but I have so many books to review that I have I started reading maybe two/three at once, maybe 6 months ago. I try to get at least a few chapters into the story, before I start something else, but it depends on the mood I’m in π
I’m really interested to see your answers this week and let me know what you think of my new blog button!
I forgot to think about the different formats, as I often have one on audio and one ongoing on my kindle as well. I know what mean about having too many books piling up, though, Kirsty. How did we manage before our blogging days?
Have a fantastic Friday!

Nice! Seeing that a lot! Lots of readers who are mood readers basically! LOL! Me, I’m a 1 book at a time girl. I feel like I can focus better on the story and not get things mixed up either!

Have a GREAT day!

It is really easy to get mixed up, especially if the books are the same genre! I often have to skim through the book to remind myself.
I really appreciate the fact that you always comment xx

I have a hard time reading three at once. I mean I try it every once in while, but there’s always one book that gets neglected while the other two grab my attention.

I have been reasonably unlucky with the books I’ve chosen to read lately and having a tough time trying to find a story that really drags me in . . .if you have any recommendations I’d love to hear them.
Thanks for the comment x

I usually have 2-3 going on. I’m a mood reader, so when one book isn’t holding my attention I switch. I use different formats, different genres so that I don’t get mixed up on what I’m reading for reviews π

Thanks for the new follow π It definitely is easier to have 2/3 books on the go when they are different genres xx

I started reading more than one book in the middle of last year too, and it was solely due to my fever for ARC’s π I’m feeling different towards this approach now though, I don’t ever want to make reading feel like it’s a chore
Have a fabulous weekend Kristy!

I really need to stop visiting Netgalley Claudia! I have had to stop taking review requests from authors for the time being because I got to the point where reading felt like a struggle π¦ Every month now I also try to read something off my own TBR list.
Have a great week and thanks for stopping by xx

I usually only read one book at a time, if I try to read more than one then I’ll end up forgetting about one of the books!

YES! Definitely yes, to all of this and so much more, because it’s hard to just sit down and read for my own pleasure and enjoyment with all of the books on my shelves begging to be read and then also to have a ton of review books physical and eGalley’s staring you in the face yelling … “You know you need to read me now!” So, it’s usually two at a time, with one being on the Kindle and then the other being one off my shelf for my own pleasure. It took me quite a while to develop this formula of reading and even still being the moodiest reader that I am, it’s a little hard to stick to but I do try my best. π
Happy Reading and Hopping Through!!! β€
Have a fantastic weekend! π

I am going to try much harder just to have 1 book on my Kindle and another off my own TBR . . .but like you I feel that guilt “oh no, I must review this now” π Hope its a great week for you xx

Before I started blogging I used to stick to reading only one book at a time. I have been trying to stick to reading 2 books at a time (one ebook & one physical) but sometimes I add more to it. I tend to be a mood reader too!
Thanks for stopping by my blog!

I carry my mp3 player at work and listen to audio books all day, but at home I have hard copies and my tablet. So I always have at least 2 books going.
