Title: With A Twist
Author: Sawyer Bennett
Series: Last Call, #4
Release Date: January 6th 2015
Age Group: New Adult
Genre: Contemporary Romance

Wyatt Banks is ready to give one woman the world. Unfortunately, his job as a cop tends to interfere with other goals. When Wyatt is sent deep undercover to investigate a sex slave ring, he doesn’t have time to do anything but focus on staying alive in a dark and dangerous underworld.
Wyatt isn’t alone though in his quest to save the women that are being sold into sexual slavery.
His partner, FBI Agent Andrea Somerville, is immersed just as deeply as he is, and she’s the bait to lure the sex slavers out into the open, as she poses as an erotic dancer in an attempt to snare the enemy. But danger runs as high as the sparks between them, and now Wyatt is caught between the job he loves and the woman he wants.

WITH A TWIST can be read as a stand-alone novel.

With a Twist differs from the previous Last Call books, in that some of its action takes place away from the security of the Outer Banks, meaning it can be easily read as a stand-alone.
Wyatt is an undercover policeman, sent to Raleigh to expose a sex-slave ring. He immerses himself in his new identity as Raze and though he abhors the many tasks he has to undertake, he has to prove his legitimacy to his new ‘boss’.
Andrea works for the FBI but is recruited to work with Raze, in the hope that she will be taken as bait and sold to the next ‘Master’.  Andrea easily slips into the role of Nikki O, using the stripper skills she earned whilst paying her way through college.
Wyatt is the typical hot-blooded Alpha male. He lusts after Andrea, not only because of her beauty but the resilience she shows.
Andrea can see behind the mask Wyatt wears when he is In the club. As she dances on stage she closes her mind off, entertaining herself with her fantasies of Wyatt, so much that she begins to perform just for him.
Aside from two brief sexual encounters, the first half of With a Twist is focused on the danger of their assignment and tension as they attempt to force a situation in which an arrest can be made.
Sawyer Bennett is then free to remind her reader what she is so good at, exploring the passion and intensity between Wyatt and Andrea with explosive sex scenes. We are brought back to the Outer Banks and re-encounter characters we have already grown to care about.
Although I expected some backlash from their undercover operation, there is none and instead the spotlight is entirely upon Wyatt and Andrea learning their importance to one another.
I really enjoyed the changes Sawyer Bennett has made to her story-telling format and I think because of this it can be easily distinguished from the rest of the series. With a Twist will definitely be loved by long-standing fans of the author, but I am sure she will gain new ones after they have read this too!
